Andrew trained as a Chartered Accountant, and spent the first twenty years of his professional career working with leading accounting firms in corporate recovery, corporate finance and litigation support roles. After realising that too many companies were ending up in insolvency, with devastating effects for directors, shareholders and their families, Andrew decided there was a gap in the market for company-side assistance.

Work-out for a significant property developer with exposure to multiple financiers totalling $51.9M at an LVR of 98%. Identified and confirmed financiers’ competing objectives, and developed a work-out strategy involving debt reduction through property sale and restructuring of remaining facilities at lower interest rates for extended terms.

Rob has over 20 years’ international finance experience including sales and management roles within the finance, transport and logistics, retail, agriculture and not-for-profit industries.
Having worked in the Australian finance sector for over 15 years, Rob has dealt with individual and business clients from many industries and from many different locations. He draws on his extensive network to introduce the right finance solutions to solve complex business problems.
Rob has specific expertise raising the right combination of debt and equity and restructuring finance facilities to fund organic growth, mergers, acquisitions and turnaround strategies. He works closely with colleagues at Vantage to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.

Sourced a unique “one off” debtor funding facility (disclosed invoice discounting) for a civil engineering and construction business with annual turnover of approximately $30M.
Restructure Finance Facilities for Acquisition
Restructured various finance facilities for a small business acquisition by MBO. Involving 4 new owners with multiple loan facilities to address their investment, commercial and business requirements.
Invoice Discount Facility for Manufacturer
Sourced a $5M confidential invoice discount facility for a manufacturing company that was not provided by its previous Commercial Bank, despite there being large amounts of security available.
Equipment Finance
Sourced $2M equipment finance for a rural stock feeds manufacturer that was establishing a new business in a regional area.
Utilities Contractor
A company had no more funds apart from one single retention that was just coming due. Arranged to fund this which in turn bought time to put in place another blended working capital / debtor finance facility with a non bank lender.
Retention Funding
Sourced a unique $300K blended Trade / Debtor finance facility from a Private funder. This allowed the business to restart sales, time to complete its tax returns and lodge a significant R & D grant. This in turn was funded and most creditors arrears brought back in line.
Distributor
Due to previous losses the company was unable to source funding from its current Bank. Sourced a $400K trade line from a private funder. The company was able to regenerate sales leading into its peak season and generate sufficient revenues and profits to return to stability.
