Jeremy, is a director of Vantage Performance and leads our NSW practice. He has worked as a performance improvement consultant for the past 17 years. He brings to Vantage clients a blend of both the professional and pragmatic. He has the unique skill of working equally with operational teams as with leadership teams, as evidenced by his project record below.
A thought-leader in performance improvement, he has recently led several high profile healthcare transformations in Australian private hospitals, including an award winning project for St Vincent's Private Hospital in Sydney. He has also led two successful start-up ventures, a software company and an angel investment company in the Hunter Valley. The software company is now operating across 20 Australian acute care hospitals and was awarded a US quality award in 2007.

Suite SpotTM operating theatre performance improvement - developed value driver analytical tool for Mater Hospital to increase profit margins in operating rooms from 10% - 25% on agreed baselines.
Corporate transformation program with senior leadership team at Hunter Medical Research Institute - 600 medical researchers - improved culture, problem management & collaboration across all 8 medical programs. Creative problem solving & collaboration skills now embedded in senior leadership team practices.
Planning workshop for PSP Alliance, Sydney Water - streamlined the close out for major sewage projects and implemented strategies that resulted in further work for Alliance with Sydney Water.
Strategy workshop for small financial services advisory, DWL & Associates - initiated transformation of this business from a small financial services advisory to mid sized funds manager.
Venture capital readiness & raising for medical device company - IP and successful capital raising of $800K with US based investor group.
Operating theatre review for Mater Hospital, North Sydney - analysis & identification of spare capacity to engage with private equity backed group of orthopaedic surgeons. Resulted in increased session availability & theatre utilisation for orthopaedic surgeons.
Design & implementation of continuous improvement software for all departments at St Vincent's Private Hospital, Sydney - increase of 43.8% EBITDA for FY2009. Winner of the 2007 Press Ganey Award for quality (USA). Also refer to peer-reviewed results in case study.
Performance improvement program for Sydney hospital group - 20% increase in occupancy rates & first return to profitability in 18 months by engaging management team with referring psychiatric doctors.
Facilitated the breaking down of silos & installation of on-line patient booking system for St Vincent's Private Hospital, Sydney -30% reduction labour costs and elimination of data entry errors.
Creative problem solving workshops with ANZ leadership team - institutional risk and marketing teams now working better together on internal initiatives.

Facilitated the closure of a subsidiary of St Vincent's & Mater Health Group - wind-up and de-commissioning of operations stemming any further losses for subsidiary of hospital group.
Design & instal performance management system for NSW meat processor - reduced staff turnover by 58% and trebled production capacity and throughput.
Design & instal balanced scorecard for WA's largest housing provider - performance metrics & technology delivered to all state-wide offices with decreased waiting lists being key result.
